Transformation fails on "Table Output" step. The following is the log output: 2008/11/06 10:14:43 - Default Insert.0 - ERROR (version 3.0.3, build 569 from 2008/04/25 12:30:04) : java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 7 2008/11/06 10:14:43 - Default Insert.0 - ERROR (version 3.0.3, build 569 from 2008/04/25 12:30:04) : at org.pentaho.di.core.row.RowMeta.getString(RowMeta.java:181) 2008/11/06 10:14:43 - Default Insert.0 - ERROR (version 3.0.3, build 569 from 2008/04/25 12:30:04) : at org.pentaho.di.core.row.RowMeta.getString(RowMeta.java:549) 2008/11/06 10:14:43 - Default Insert.0 - ERROR (version 3.0.3, build 569 from 2008/04/25 12:30:04) : at org.pentaho.di.trans.steps.tableoutput.TableOutput.writeToTable(TableOutput.java:280) 2008/11/06 10:14:43 - Default Insert.0 - ERROR (version 3.0.3, build 569 from 2008/04/25 12:30:04) : at org.pentaho.di.trans.steps.tableoutput.TableOutput.processRow(TableOutput.java:76) 2008/11/06 10:14:43 - Default Insert.0 - ERROR (version 3.0.3, build 569 from 2008/04/25 12:30:04) : at org.pentaho.di.trans.steps.tableoutput.TableOutput.run(TableOutput.java:526) I have tried to narrows the scope of this issue to reproduce it, but have not been able to. However, it fails consistently within my transformation. Here are the steps: 1. Text File Input 2. JavaScript (adds fields and puts new rows) 3. Filter to remove non script-produced rows 4. Constant field added 5. JavaScript adds new field 6. Database Value Lookup adds three new fields 7. Dummy Step 8. Filter to select appropriate rows by matching field value (several conditions together by OR) 9. Value Mapper adds dynamic table name field, based on existing field value 10. Select / Rename values step removes 9 fields 11. Table output step inserts to appropriate table based on table name field. Based on my addition / removal of steps and the array index error, it seems like somewhere the meta data is losing track of the correct number of fields and it's failing to populate the prepared statement.
