It appears that when I install Gradle from the update site, the core bundle is not being exploded. This is problematic because some things, such as the new project wizard rely on it being exploded to be able to access sample project contents. This manifest itself in a number of ways; When trying to use new project wizard: {noformat} java.lang.NullPointerException at org.springsource.ide.eclipse.gradle.core.samples.SampleProjectRegistry.registerLocalSamples(SampleProjectRegistry.java:103) at org.springsource.ide.eclipse.gradle.core.samples.SampleProjectRegistry.getAll(SampleProjectRegistry.java:96) at org.springsource.ide.eclipse.gradle.ui.wizards.SampleProjectSection.getSampleProjectNames(SampleProjectSection.java:90) at org.springsource.ide.eclipse.gradle.ui.wizards.SampleProjectSection.createContents(SampleProjectSection.java:77) at org.springsource.ide.eclipse.gradle.ui.wizards.WizardPageWithSections.createControl(WizardPageWithSections.java:54) {noformat} Also: {noformat} org.eclipse.core.runtime.CoreException: Couldn't access the plugin org.springsource.ide.eclipse.gradle.core as a directory.
