java.io.IOException: Transport Connector could not be registered in JMX: Failed to bind to server socket: tcp://0.0.0.0:61616 due to: java.net.BindException: Address already in use: JVM_Bind

In JBoss Fuse 6.1, the "jboss-fuse-medium" profile is inherited from "jboss-fuse-minimal" profile and "mq-amq" profile. The problem is that the profile "mq-amq" has it's own broker.xml configuration and transport connector is configured as: {code} <transportConnector name="openwire" uri="tcp://0.0.0.0:61616"/> {code} as a result, the root container will have a broker instance created on port 61616 already. If an user is trying to create a local child container with the "jboss-fuse-medium" profile, then following error will be thrown: {code} java.io.IOException: Transport Connector could not be registered in JMX: Failed to bind to server socket: tcp://0.0.0.0:61616 due to: java.net.BindException: Address already in use at org.apache.activemq.util.IOExceptionSupport.create(IOExceptionSupport.java:27)[118:org.apache.activemq.activemq-osgi:5.9.0.redhat-610378] {code} In JBoss Fuse 6.0, the "jboss-fuse-medium" profile has "jboss-fuse-minimal" and "mq" as it's parent profiles. Similarly as "mq-default" profile in 6.1, the "mq" profile in 6.0 has broker's transport connector configured as: {code} <transportConnector name="openwire" uri="tcp://0.0.0.0:0"/> {code} which will create a broker instance on a randomly chosen port. Therefore, there won't be any problem if an user tries to create a local child container with the profile "jboss-fuse-medium". From a consistency stand point, we should change one of the parent profiles from "mq-amq" to "mq-default" for the profile "jboss-fuse-medium" in JBoss Fuse 6.1.
