javax.mail.AuthenticationFailedException: [ALERT] Too many simultaneous connections. (Failure)

We have a pending PO for the JEMH plugin and have it installed and generally working. However, we have a possible show-stopper: multiple JEMH profiles using the same Jira mail server fail to get to the associated profile project likely due to the cap on simultaneous connections to a gmail inbox: Here is our current setup: Incoming Mail: POP/IMAP Mail Servers; jira.something@my.domain Host: Username: jira.something@my.domain *Our mail is handled by google mail - so the above is a real mailbox. JEMH Profiles: the email addresses for the configured profiles are gmail groups where the above address (jira.something@my.domain) is a member. These profiles are set up to use the group address to send notifications to enable email-replies-to-ticket-comments. We have 18 profiles set up and only about 3 will work at any given time. I have gone through the configurations several times and find that they are in order. One work-around is to create a Jira Mail Server for each profile. However this is not cost-effective as we build games. Lots of games. So at this point we need a solution. Is there something I am overlooking? Maybe a config switch I forgot to turn on? An "any" key I forgot to press? Please see the below output from the error log.
