The BCEL library throws a ClassFormatException. It is
possible that FindBugs is passing bad values into the
MethodGen constructor, but I tend to doubt it. Does this
happen even after cleaning and rebuilding your project?

Clean and rebuild seems to work. At least it generates a
.fbwarnings file. Nevertheless I find in the .log that
exactly this file does is not found ???
