  • Hi all, after installing a fresh Nexus 1.0.1 and doing some configurations, I now get an error message when loading any page (even before login): Nexus returned an error: ERROR 500: javax.crypto.b (initialization failure) The screen is shown but there is no option available in the left hand menu. Strangely enough, this does appear when I'm using IE 7, but not on Firefox 3. The log file contains this stack trace: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax.crypto.b (initialization failure) at java.lang.J9VMInternals.initialize(J9VMInternals.java:134) at javax.crypto.Cipher.getInstance(Unknown Source) at org.jsecurity.crypto.BlowfishCipher.newCipherInstance(BlowfishCipher.java:103) at org.jsecurity.crypto.BlowfishCipher.crypt(BlowfishCipher.java:132) at org.jsecurity.crypto.BlowfishCipher.decrypt(BlowfishCipher.java:98) at org.jsecurity.subject.AbstractRememberMeManager.decrypt(AbstractRememberMeManager.java:243) at org.jsecurity.subject.AbstractRememberMeManager.getRememberedPrincipals(AbstractRememberMeManager.java:192) at org.jsecurity.mgt.DefaultSecurityManager.getRememberedIdentity(DefaultSecurityManager.java:402) at org.jsecurity.web.DefaultWebSecurityManager.getPrincipals(DefaultWebSecurityManager.java:179) at org.jsecurity.web.DefaultWebSecurityManager.createSubject(DefaultWebSecurityManager.java:217) at org.jsecurity.web.DefaultWebSecurityManager.createSubject(DefaultWebSecurityManager.java:213) at org.jsecurity.web.DefaultWebSecurityManager.createSubject(DefaultWebSecurityManager.java:202) at org.jsecurity.mgt.DefaultSecurityManager.getSubject(DefaultSecurityManager.java:417) at org.jsecurity.mgt.DefaultSecurityManager.getSubject(DefaultSecurityManager.java:424) at org.jsecurity.web.servlet.JSecurityFilter.doFilterInternal(JSecurityFilter.java:367) at org.sonatype.nexus.security.filter.NexusJSecurityFilter.doFilterInternal(NexusJSecurityFilter.java:67) at org.jsecurity.web.servlet.OncePerRequestFilter.doFilter(OncePerRequestFilter.java:180) at org.mortbay.jetty.servlet.ServletHandler$CachedChain.doFilter(ServletHandler.java:1088) at org.mortbay.jetty.servlet.ServletHandler.handle(ServletHandler.java:360) at org.mortbay.jetty.security.SecurityHandler.handle(SecurityHandler.java:216) at org.mortbay.jetty.servlet.SessionHandler.handle(SessionHandler.java:181) at org.mortbay.jetty.handler.ContextHandler.handle(ContextHandler.java:729) at org.mortbay.jetty.webapp.WebAppContext.handle(WebAppContext.java:405) at org.mortbay.jetty.handler.ContextHandlerCollection.handle(ContextHandlerCollection.java:206) at org.mortbay.jetty.handler.HandlerCollection.handle(HandlerCollection.java:114) at org.mortbay.jetty.handler.HandlerWrapper.handle(HandlerWrapper.java:152) at org.mortbay.jetty.Server.handle(Server.java:324) at org.mortbay.jetty.HttpConnection.handleRequest(HttpConnection.java:505) at org.mortbay.jetty.HttpConnection$RequestHandler.headerComplete(HttpConnection.java:829) at org.mortbay.jetty.HttpParser.parseNext(HttpParser.java:513) at org.mortbay.jetty.HttpParser.parseAvailable(HttpParser.java:211) at org.mortbay.jetty.HttpConnection.handle(HttpConnection.java:380) at org.mortbay.io.nio.SelectChannelEndPoint.run(SelectChannelEndPoint.java:395) at org.mortbay.thread.QueuedThreadPool$PoolThread.run(QueuedThreadPool.java:488) Seems to be some crypto stuff... What could be the reason? Did I mess up the configuration? But why is it working in Firefox then? Any help is appreciated! "Originally posted by Christoph on the nexus-users list"
