  • Hi all, I am running Hudson 1.227 clear case plugin 0.5.2. I am not able run more than on job on Hudson, I installed Tomcat 6 on Windows 2003 server. This one job also hangs after some time because of file descriptor leak. Is there any way to work around to stop this leak on 2003 server, by the way I tried the documented work around but it doest not help much, still i see the same exception. Pls Help me, -Arshad WARNING: Process leaked file descriptors. • I'm using hudson 1.297. My build job output BUILD SUCCESSFUL and got stuck: ... rm -f release_build_analyzer/ba-doc-4.5.0.tar.gz cd release_build_analyzer && tar zcf ba-doc-4.5.0.tar.gz ./* BUILD SUCCESSFUL BUILD SUCCESSFUL It's a build through make. I noticed the following error in the log for the build machine that started about 1ish pm and repeated numerous times: Mar 18, 2009 4:31:54 PM hudson.Proc$LocalProc join WARNING: Process leaked file descriptors. See http://hudson.gotdns.com/wiki/display/JENKINS/Spawning+processes+from+build for more information java.lang.Exception at hudson.Proc$LocalProc.join(Proc.java:128) at hudson.Launcher$RemoteLaunchCallable.call(Launcher.java:424) at hudson.Launcher$RemoteLaunchCallable.call(Launcher.java:405) at hudson.remoting.UserRequest.perform(UserRequest.java:69) at hudson.remoting.UserRequest.perform(UserRequest.java:23) at hudson.remoting.Request$2.run(Request.java:200) at java.util.concurrent.Executors$RunnableAdapter.call(Executors.java:417) at java.util.concurrent.FutureTask$Sync.innerRun(FutureTask.java:269) at java.util.concurrent.FutureTask.run(FutureTask.java:123) at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.runTask(ThreadPoolExecutor.java:650) at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.run(ThreadPoolExecutor.java:675) at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:595) According to http://hudson.gotdns.com/wiki/display/JENKINS/Spawning+processes+from+build, hudson should just print out a warning and move on. It did not. The job stayed hung for hours.
